How It Happened
I first discovered gngr bees through a recommendation within the sustainable community, and I was immediately captivated by Nathalia Grisard’s stance on ethics. They weren’t a brand just selling activewear; they were actively challenging the industry's narrative. My instincts kicked in, and I felt compelled to investigate their backstory to share with an audience that values depth over trends.
The creative process flowed beautifully from there. After filming our interview, I focused on translating Nathalia's powerful philosophy into the visual storytelling for our social media collaboration. I wanted to refine her message into a captivating design that felt just as conscious, raw, and full of depth as the brand itself.
A collaborative social media post brought the interview to life, and seeing the tremendous engagement from the gngr bees global community was an absolute highlight.
Beyond the story, the true reward of this interview has been the lasting relationship it built. Nathalia and I's connection remains, and her constant encouragement, as well as her creative direction, has become a deep source of inspiration that has empowered me throughout my career in the past 2 years. It solidified my belief that when you lead with transparent intentions and sharp, intentional design, you build a connection that goes far beyond standard marketing.
“ Sustainability has become inflated and misused by brands lacking genuinely sustainable practices aiming to attract eco-conscious consumers.
It would be easy to say 'gngr bees is sustainable' but what makes us a conscious, better brand is the fact we focus on continuous improvement rather than claiming perfect sustainability, emphasizing our commitment to the planet and its inhabitants.”
