Fizzy Mag press feature titled An Interview With Daye One Of The Biggest Sustainable Period Brands On The Market

How It Happened

Securing this interview was a defining moment for me in my career; it was the first major industry leader I reached out to independently. I was deeply drawn to Daye’smission of ‘closing the gender gap in medical research and innovation’ and the daily reality of women’s health. Overcoming the initial fear of outreach to a brand of this scale proved that when we want to explore stories we are drawn to, the connection follows naturally.

I loved diving into the science of their hardware and the vaginal microbiome. Having navigated my own struggles with hormone health in the past, my focus was on taking their medical-grade innovation and stripping away any restrictions, translating complex data into a story that felt accessible and compelling for my community.

I initiated the outreach, with Daye kindly posting the interviewon their own social media, highlighting my work to their global audience. This cemented my confidence in my curation and proved that by following my curiosity into taboo topics, I can start a conversation that resonates with the industry’s biggest players.

The gender health gap is a long-standing issue that we here at Daye are tirelessly working to bridge; this means empowering women and AFAB individuals to take their health into their own hands.

For example, our Vaginal Microbiome Screening kit helps you understand your risk of vaginal infections, fertility implications, and other gynae health complications.
